I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and quite lovely with a nice outlook over the bay. The service was very pleasant, and the staff even moved us to a suite. The location was fabulous, right by the St Andrews clubhouse and the First Tee. The dining experience was also very good. The price felt fair for what was offered.

The hotel was advertised as a deluxe, but the rooms really needed refurbishing and the bathrooms were dated. Despite this, the room was clean and comfortable. Some decor refreshing could enhance the overall experience. The service was attentive and friendly, although they seemed to struggle at times. The location was superb with a lovely view of the Old Course, but the property itself needed some major TLC. Dining experience was a letdown with poor service despite a friendly waitress. The buffet lacked variety and preparation. The hotel has potential with its great location but requires improvements in various areas.

I couldn't have asked for a better view from my room overlooking the beach. The decor might need a touch-up, but the comfort level was top-notch. The service was exceptional despite the elevator mishap. Dining left something to be desired, but overall, a remarkable stay by the sea.
